The Challenge - Development of a Telephone Statement Custom Application

A large organization with thousands of telephone numbers found it difficult to analyze their phone bill. The service provider gave the customer their billing statement complete with individual line charges and all associated fees, but the statement was delivered on a CD and in printed form in a bankers box each month. Perusing the thousands of printed pages was time consuming and the CD proved useless as most Windows based applications would fail to open the files due to size restrictions (Microsoft Excel would fail to import after 65536 records).

The Solution - Soltech's Custom Programming Services 

Soltech developed a custom program to import the customers phone bill into a database application and present the user with an interface to quickly drill in to the thousands of individual phone line records to locate the information needed. The application is developed with a web based interface to make it accessible from many remote computers simultaneously.
